I am the owner of a Xiaomi 13 which in March was involved in a wrong update released by Xiaomi which put the smartphone in a bootloop situation.
From what I understand an update released by Xiaomi via MIUI GetApps, with which a new plugin for the interface would be released. It seems that, obviously by mistake, a plugin was released that is not compatible with the MIUI that we find on Xiaomi smartphones. This is where the bootloop comes from.
I understood that to solve the problem without losing data on the smartphone, in particular I need to recover photos, the process is:
1. Download and install Mi Assistance
2. Download the English interface for Mi Assistance
3. Download a compatible ROM version for Xiaomi 13 of MIUI or HyperOS
4. Connect Xiaomi 13 by selecting the “connect with MiAssistance” option
5. Mi Assistance finds the phone and indicates that current version is V14.0.27.0.TMCEUXM
6. Select the “choose a local flash package” option
7. Upload one of the .zip files downloaded in step 3
8. Wait for the ROM to be verified
9. Load the ROM onto your phone
The problem is that any ROM I use at point 7 Mi Assistance always gives this error:
Flash package verification error.
Unknown [2015].
Recommended Flash package version: ….
Can someone help me?
