partitions Mi2

Hadron, you seem to know alot of this stuff. Can I ask you a question about the same matter?

I bought the 16 GB version. Ofcourse, there are 2 partitions, so my main partition (with miui android on in) only has 8gb of space.
Is there any way to use the second 8gb on the second partition?

I guess there is another miui installed on the 2nd partition..?
How can i boot into this second partition? is there any easy way to switch between them to be able to have my full 16 GB?

thank you in advance :)

Ok
Mi2 have 16GB but actually it's 15.xxx GB like a computer who have 80Gb hard drive but shows around 76gb. Details of partitions on mi2 is like this
a97@android:/ $ su
u0_a97@android:/ # df
Filesystem Size Used Free Blksize
/dev 935M 64K 935M 4096
/mnt/asec 935M 0K 935M 4096
/mnt/obb 935M 0K 935M 4096
/system 504M 422M 82M 4096
/data 3G 1G 2G 4096
/cache 382M 20M 361M 4096
/persist 7M 4M 3M 4096
/firmware 84M 50M 34M 16384
/storage_int 9G 8G 1G 4096
/storage/sdcard0 9G 8G 1G 4096

System 1 0.5gb
System 2. 0.5 gb
Data partition. 3.0Gb
Sdcard. 9gb
Misc (cache, dev, firmware) 2gb

So there is no other 8gb. All the phone memory is counted in that 16GB.

You can boot to other partition from recovery. By choosing reboot and then system 1 or 2 of your choice. See update guide thread for more details
