Hi there!

I open this topic as my Xiaomi 2 has two problems :

My phone isn't a fake as bought on the official website. I use the official Chinese system updated to JLB 12, Android 4.1.1.

1) Recently many people tell they can't hear me clearly. For exemple if I say:
Hey where are you today?
they hear:
Hey ..re a.. you. .oday?
It isn't always. Sometimes at the beginning of the call the person can hear and after a couple of seconds can't. Maybe my simcard has a problem, I will change it to verify. Does someone experience the same problem?

2) When I shutdown the phone, at first it closes normally. But after a couple of seconds if I press the button under the screen, I can feel the vibration as if the phone didn't completely shutdown. If I press the button on the right side of the mobile to restart it, it shows the "shutting down" screen. The progress bar is animated but stay until I take off the battery or press the right button 10 seconds to reboot. Any idea?

Considering your problem could be related to poor signal that is getting you missed words, try to change manually to "Only 2G" in settings, could be either related to sound noise cancellation but that is software and the turn off problem is software too (in most cases). Try other ROM's variants from this forum to see if the problem persists

Yes, I've already desactivated 3g.

I will try to update to MIUI 5 to see if it solve the "can't shutdown" issue.

If I use the backup application, does it save everything? Data, application and settings? In which folder is the backup file?

If you already disabled 3G then remains the ROM, the baseband or your SIM chip from carrier. I recomend that you use the ROM's avaliable in this forum because they fix many things in the chinease ROM that's not working outside China. The backup I really don't use from MIUI because I prefered Titanium backup in Google Play but it's only working well as far as I tested in program data, settings I never tested.

Sakat,

I also agree with dextructor since the Chinese MIUI is mostly customized for china try to flash miuiandroid v5 or WIUI rom and check :)

I am in China and don't really mind having the menu in Chinese. So I prefer to keep the official version to avoid breaking the warranty.

I'll go to change the SIM card and make it check at the customer center. Will let you know if there is any changes.

An update of my problem:

I went to change the simcard. It seemed better but still some people complained. My mobile company told me they having problems. The version 14 of jlb was released officially today. I will see if it improves it otherwise I will check at the Xiaomi center.

I will keep u updated if all is resolved!

i use stock rom,qdt07 android 4.1.1,not miui.

everything goes well.

if jlb14 have the same problem.u can try stock rom.

I tried with Miu V5 but it didn't resolve the problem so I went to the service center. After checking they cannot fix it through software. It's really a hardware problem. I've to go in around 10 days for change.

I went to change the motherboard. It resolved the shutdown problem. As far nobody complained about the sound quality.
