Hi guys. I have a really strange problem. Today my phone dropped from my desk with the screen faced down. I picked the phone and i saw the screen went black. After a while some lines appeared and then after i removed the battery and reinserted it the screen was back to normal.
The only problem now is that each time i unlock my phone there is a delay (black screen) and a kind of flickering and then the phone is ok. If i lock and unlock it constantly it stops doing this. If i let it for one minute and try to unlock it the same happens.

Do you have any idea what's wrong ? I have never faced something like this.
Usually when the screen brakes is has constant lines or constant flickering. Not only when unlocking the phone.

Please share your ideas.

Well For my experience with some LCD screens (most with iPhone) some defects take more time to show up. One LCD screen take 1 month to stop working completly after a hard drop.

If you have the tools and the knowledge in smartphone repair to see if you have a problem with the flat cable and other LCD components it's worth a shot.

Hehehe i have already disassembled the phone but the flat cables looked ok. I don't know what else i could check except the flat cables. Any ideA? Also anyone tried to remove the lcd from the digitizer?? Because i don't think it is possible to do so.

ibuygou sells the replacement screen for $100.

Here is a video where the screen is replaced on an MI2
