Probably your provider blocks DUN in order to deny Tethering.
There is a simple trick to cheat and make Tethering to work!
Use Terminal Emulator and grant root access, then type:
su
settings put global tether_dun_required 0

Restart phone and Tethering will work :)

Mmm... It doesnt works, I think thats not the problem, but I saw that I have the NVRAM problem over the WiFi, you think that it can be related?

NVRAM doesn't have problems. Simply your provider doesn't allow Tethering. But if you enter my commands on Terminal Emulator the provider will think that you are normally using your data plan.

Try also to put in APN type setting the string default, supl, dun

Might not be the provider, but that's the solution anyway.

I bought a Redmi2 2Gb in the beginning of the year, and had the same problem, and in my country the providers don't block tethering, all was working before in my previous phone (same SIM).

The first time I applied the procedure it didn't work (don't know why), but weeks later I tried again and all good.

There's detailed posts online about how to do it.

This solution worked for me!! I had to add "dun" string to the setting value, the other strings were there. Thanks buddy, I've been struggling with this issue for a while.
