New Slow Wifi Redmi Note 2

I am getting incredibly slow WiFi on my Redmi Note 2. I am on 6.1.29. I have tried disabling IPv6 but still no joy. If I keep turning WiFi on and off sometimes a good speed will kick in for a short time.

Am I alone? Can anyone help?

Same problem/bug here... since I bought the phone.
Same bug in every rom.
6.1.21 installed for now!

Hello, I have the same problem, device is RedmiNote2 Prime, fw ver. 6.1.29. On previous 6.1.21 wi-fi worked well.
In this 6.1.29 I have no bluetooth problem, like on previous firmwares, but wi-fi works bad.

Hello, with all Wi-Fi networks or one in particular? I am connected in the office and at home usually, I have no problems with this ROM

You know, I suspect, that I have problem only at home. Router is in 2.4GHz mode, 802.11n. I have changed chanell, It helps me not. And other devices, such as Samsung s3, galaxy tab, Samsung TV, ASUS notebook are working good. And my Redmi note2 worked good before I get new this ROM. For example, I can watch Youtube, and in moment video playback stops, speed indicator is howing only 0.5-1Kb/s. Than Wi-fi sign became light gray, like there is no signal. And in few seconds evreything gets ok.

At work I have old router working at 54Mbit with not very good signal. And link is more stable at first look. Mb because I don't use it very hard.

Eliminates the Wi-Fi connection from the phone, and make a new scan, if the problem is only at home maybe it solves

I've tested your advice. Not works.
And today I saw that Wi-fi turned off at work.

I've updated to 6.2.18. Wi-Fi works good in first look.

6.2.18 seems to have improved things for me also.

In my case the Tethering doesn't run in 6.2.25 rom. In the two past weeks I probed cyanogenmod.12.1 and I had not those problems.
