My phone is Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro Snapdragon(Kenzo) 32GB

Now I follow unofficial guide to unlock bootloader, GLOBAL ROM stable Version: V7.1.8.0.LHOMICL (MIUI7) and unlock bootloader. Install TWRP and root.

Now I want to install xiaomi.eu ROM: 6.5.26 - Last Miui 7!

Can I just flash this custom ROM directly from TWRP? Do I still need to flash modded boot.img etc? Anything that I need to do before flashing? Just a precaution so that I not brick my phone.

Unlock the bootloader on the official site.
With a guide "manual" is difficult, only if you are very bravo you'll make it. Redmi Notes 3 pro is very "hard"

So its impossible without unlocking officially?
More than impossible is not recommended, I know who did it, but then he realized that the best solution is Official. And if you have fun to replacing ROM, locks out again. Avoid

I have a much simpler phone

I guessed as much.. Hahaha. I've applied for the official unlocker but still yet to receive reply. Bricking the phone takes hell of a time restoring it. I guessed as much that official unlocker is needed. Thanks for your reply

How were you able to flash the eu rom with unoffical unlock? I keep getting mi logo twice and then bootloop.

That is why I ask in the first place, just to be sure before anything goes wrong.

After doing some research, what I did is just modify the firmware zip file by:

Inside firmware-update
delete emmc_appsboot.mbn

Then you can flash safely through TWRP. Otherwise, your bootloader will be locked again and caught in bootloop.

So you delete emmc_appsboot.mbn from the new xiaomi.eu miui 8 rom?
