Instruction, How To Fix Google Market Error 963 Part 2

I tried with both locked and unlocked after flashing but still no good.

That's the case. Every time you touching bootloader and resetting your user partition, you should do "fastboot -w", because every time when you "officially" (when device asking confirmation) changing bootloader state, data partition simply killed. No format left there. And if you not forced fastboot to format it or not flashing valid data partition image, you getting this strange behavior. Many people have no idea if their device was unlocked before. Getting new device, which was unlocked/flashed with crap/locked back maybe without informing buyer, think that it's a ROM problem. And when you ask - did you unlocked you bootloader they saying - no no no. Hope my explanation was clear.
Anyway, now we have a method to lock/unlock/do whatever multiple times with bootloader without touching data partition at all. I'm working on a script now, which will do all-in-one (I mean, flashing fastboot ROM's, recoveries (TWRP), fixing market error, fixing buttons combinations).

Hi, I have my MiPad 2 running fine with Xiaomi.eu Rom 6.4.7 with MIUI 7.3.
When I installed it I could get rid of the Market Error using your approach. Thx for that.
Now, it's time to update my pad. Is there any risk of triggering the Error again with a normal flash via TWRP? I guess the partitions are not changed during an update?!

Take a tool from a link in top of this topic. There you can do multiple stuffs including TWRP flashing.
You are using Xiaomi.eu ROM? To which version you around going to go? Stable or dev? You can take ROM adjusted by me https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/fastboot-rom-with-gapps-root-and-some-other-stuffs.34148/ and flash it with the Tool without TWRP and all other s**t around that.

Ich brauche Ihre Antworten, um eine bessere Lösung zu empfehlen.

I wanted to flash the current dev Rom from TWRP and do a wipe. As I understand there is no change to the formatting of any partition.

Mi Pad 2 with last 8.5 xiaomi.eu stable version

TWRP : Format data partition to Ext4 format -> solved !
