Xiaomi Mi5 Unlock

Hi guys.
I have a xiaomi mi5 for 4 months now, and finaly i dicided to unlock it (at the moment i have MIUI Global 7.2.8.0.0[Stable]) but im a little new at this, and i followed all the steps and when im unlocking the phone it gets stuck at 50%, i've read a lot of posts, and seen a lot of videos in youtube and i cant fix the problem. Im running on windows 10 64 Bits, and i've already disabled drive enforncement, i've already turn "Find My Device" On, i only have one device on my Mi Account, i've been granted with Mi unlock permission, i have my develepor mode ON, and usb debugging ON, in my phone OEM unlocking doesn't exist... But i still get stuck at 50%
Someone can help me?

It is most likely because you are running a fake/vendor ROM.

Flash one of the latest Global developer ROMs & then check under developer options for "OEM unlock" & "Mi Unlock Status" (add Account & Device)

I had the same issue and resolved it with a menu option change.
In the updater app, there are three vertical dots,press it,and in that menu there should be an option to allow you to enter the dev update channel.
After that one simple change the miflash unlocker app was no longer stuck at 50%, it unlocked my bootloader in seconds.

Hi mate, even flashing a the latest fastboot ROM trough MiFlash is giving an error
Im tired of trying to unlock this phone, but my actual ROM has só many bugs...

No wonder you don't.
Miui version 7.2.8.0.0
That's a vendor rom. (The addition 0 at the end is the giveaway.)
You have to follow the vendor rom to chinese dev rom process.

I have bought my phone from vendor and same problem ( same fake rom ) but its still based on china rom even tho it says global.
I formated a laptop with win7 64 bit and had no problem unlocking bootloader.
