Hello everyone!

Which version of MIUI can I upgrade my Xiaomi Redmi 3 Pro to, from its stock MIUI 7.3.1.0.0 (Android 5.1.1)?
I've read different things, all confusing. Can anyone reply back with links to the correct OS upgrade?

MIUI version: MIUI 7.3.1.0.0
The build number: LMY47V
Android number is: 5.1.1 LMY47V
Model number says: Redmi 3 (though it's supposed to be a Redmi 3 Pro)
RAM: 3GB
Internal memory: 32GB

Much appreciated, thanks!

Hi. you have a pretty old stable rom from 2016.
If you want to use xiaomi.eu roms you first have to unlock your bootloader officially.
i think the process is described near the bottom of this thread:

if you have more questions just ask.

Hello I have a similar question.

Can I upgrade my Redmi3 from MIUI 7.1.3.0 to MIUI 8 or 9, by just downloading the ROM and put it into "downloaded_rom" and use the upgrade process of the MIUI?

if you are still on a xiaomi or any inofficial vendor rom you have to go through the same process as i described above. first unlock bootloader, install twrp, install xiaomi.eu rom.
if you allready have a xiaomi.eu rom now just download any recent version from here and install via twrp.
