New Gateway Connection Error With Ios And Mi Home

No way, i can't connect my gateway (v2) to Mi Home App for IOS (4.5.0).
After several tries i used Android(using the same procedure), it works like a charm, so now the Gateway is recognized from Mi HOME App on IOS too, the app recives data from gateway but i can't control anything form it (IOS) i get a 'failed to connect' even if i try to switch one the gateway light!.

On the other hand Android Mi Home APP works really fine(5.0.19), but it's not my standard phone OS!

HELP PLS.

I've got the same problem. Tried with 2 diferent gateways. Both do the same and won't connect.

Use a pwd without special chars! It works for me!

My pwd has only letters in it.

The same problem after the electricity was off for 10 min at home& When was OK, can not connect any more (((

same problem -

i have the cleaning robot v1 installed without any problem everything works fine

but no chance to connect the gateway.

settings like mainland are right, router has the newest updates and works fine

gateway blinks after plugging yellow and after connecting with the virtual wireles-lan it starts to blink three times yellow and short break and after 100% a connection error

a reset or unplug is useless because you still have the error


after searching other forums it seems like its only a ios-software Problem over a long time - how can that be possible ? its a shame for a company like xiaomi to have a software problem cannot fix it.....
