We don't really have the resources to support previous versions anyway.
Also, they should never have flashed that ZIP on a 8.8.9. The version is explicitly specified in the ZIP file name.

@Igor Eisberg Tested now and Portrait Modus works well but with 8.8.16 Sytem UI allways crash!
Hope that the new Update on Friday will be better!

Those who got their protrait mode fixed by flashing CamFixTest1, please try flashing the following ZIP and let me know if portrait mode still works.
If not, just flash CamFixTest1 again and let me know that it didn't work.

Just flashed -> working now without crash! Finally resolved - great job! Thanks!
Finally a working phone and I will not make any updates for a while with new bugs. Can live without German language but Cam works, GPS works ...

It's well known that German translation is broken on that version.
Couldnt resist and flashed the second one. Result: Cam app doesnt start -> black screen and I have to reboot the phone!
Flashed the first one again and Cam app starts again.
Dont know if I remember right ... but hasn't there been a patch for german language too? Was searching - but cant find anymore. Pretty sure that it was in another thread? I'm not sure - but wasn't you who posted this other patch too? Do you already have this patch too (or the link to the file)? THX

Thanks for checking it out. Unfortunately, if we keep using the first ZIP, your device won't pass SafetyNet...
( GRRRRRR ... solved one problem and got another one OK, and now? How do I get rid of the fix and get back SaftyNet - without working cam? What do you propose to do?

TEST1: Cam works - SafetyNet failed (TEST1_01)
TEST2: Cam doesnt work - blackscreen only
TEST3: Cam doesnt start (TEST3_01) - DafetyNet failed too (TEST3_02)
Flashed TEST1 again. Great - got a bootloop, device doesnt start anymore. Long time with the MI - logo and returnes to TWRP again!
UPDATE: Wiped cache -> flashed TEST1 again -> Phone starts again - Cam is working - SafteyNet failed.

Test 4 Portrait Modus works but SavetyNet Test Failed!
But 1 question, did i need SavetyNet Test??????? i dont know why?!
Because i have an MiMix2s and original Dev Global Miui 10 and it also faild at Savetynet Test!

To know if it is working or not. If you want to avoid some problems, this *** SafetyNet should work.

So, HofMan tried and SaftyNet failed. Should I try ? Is there any diference between TEST1 and TEST4 or only this point with SafetyNet?
