Hi,
I'm using MIUI 10 stable in my Xiaomi Mi5 and something weird is happening with Textra app since the last couple of updates. Notifications have stopped working properly. I have changed both the settings in Textra and MIUI in order to get sound, vibration, light and on screen notifications (floating and lock screen). Importance changed to "Urgent". When I receive a message my MIUI settings will change to Importance "High" and sound, light and on screen notifications will turn off. So whenever I receive a message it will only vibrate. I don't know if it is a problem from the app or MIUI related. The normal messaging app is working fine
Any ideas about how to solve this?

Ok. It seems uninstalling the app fixed the issue. So it was not MIUI related

Hi pal. It seems that I am facing the same issue, with a couple of different email client apps (Nine email app and Edison email, to say the least). Hopefully, Outlook works for now.

When you wrote that you uninstalled it, did reinstall it afterwards or you just threw it away? I still think that this is a MIUI issue.

Thank you..

If after you change Importance to Urgent, it switches back to High and settings are untoggled, it means that the app has removed its notification channel(s) and recreated them. This is the app developer's fault.

I don't know where the problem was, but uninstalling and reinstalling solved this issue. :)
