Hi,

I noticed some problems with the front camera now and then. Im just recieved Xiaomi Mi Pad 8.0 4/64Gb LTE version and flashed the Xiaomi.eu MIUI Rom v10.1.1.0 (0DJCNFI) stable.

Problems that I noticed was when I try to unlock the tablet with face unlock. The feature doest always work even when I delete the face data and try to register it again it says something like front camera doesnt work. In order to make face unlock work again I need to open camera app and switch to front camera. I think this revoke the front camera and makes face unlocking possible again for a while.

Could you tell how to make a clean install of Xiaomi.eu Rom? You said wipe everythig what that mean? Can I wipe System partion as well? Instruction said never to wipe System or Persist! but does it mean only if you have locked bootloader?

I got unlocked the bootloader, but I saw this:
"TWRP Recovery Zip DOWNLOAD or TWRP.ME
Wipe /data partition (NEVER wipe System or Persist!)
Copy our ROM to the internal storage
Install our ROM
Reboot
done"

So I didnt wipe System I wasnt sure if it was safe. I dont want to get into bootloop.

I have the TWRP and installed the xiaomi.eu stable rom. I just noticed these few bugs wallpaper and front camera. And I saw you havent the issue with landscape lockscreen wallpaper.

Can I copy the ROM to External Storage instead of Internal and then make a Full Wipe = Dalvik / Art Cache, System, Data, Cache
Then Install the Xiaomi.eu Rom? Is this correct way?

Instructions from: MIUI 10.0/10.1/10.2 STABLE RELEASE

Xiaomi devices:
Install TWRP via Fastboot mode, then install our ROM

Code:
fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
fastboot boot twrp.img

TWRP Recovery Zip DOWNLOAD or TWRP.ME
For ROOT install Magisk (may cause lags and fingerprint issue) in TWRP and reboot one more time after install to get rid of system lags

ROMs for devices with locked bootloader:
Unlock your first bootloader here http://en.miui.com/unlock/

Install TWRP via Fastboot mode, then install our ROM
Code:
fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
fastboot boot twrp.img
TWRP Recovery Zip DOWNLOAD or TWRP.ME
Wipe /data partition (NEVER wipe System or Persist!)
Copy our ROM to the internal storage
Install our ROM
Reboot
done

Installation via TWRP:
- Download zip to internal storage
- Updater - Menu (...) - Reboot to Recovery
- Install - Select zip
- Reboot

Format data,
Wipe all options available except vendor..then flash eu.rom...no need to worry bootloop or whatsoever...this is the only way make it work %...

If you not believe me its fine..then live it with bug from previous rom, mybe fake rom you have before.

I did a clean install but unfortunately it didnt resolved the problem. Still randomly the front camera doesnt work untill I launch the camera app and swith to front camera mode.
