Invalid Notification shade

With a single pull, notification shade shows five icons per row. With a double pull it shows four icons per row instead. That is sick and annoying. This Redmi 4X is going to be with 9.5.3.0 version until it dies.

And why are you reporting this as a bug? Because you don't like it? Why waste our time?
Settings -> Notifications & status bar -> Quick settings layout -> Compact
