I'm a bit confused about the lineup for the Redmi 7 series. What is the difference between Redmi 7 / Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note Pro 7 ? The size of the phones seems to be more or less identical. The CPU's have different speed. The price however can make the difference
So, all have a different Rom ?

The Redmi 7 is the cheapest, with less powerful hardware, smallest, and lower camera performance.
The Redmi Note 7 is the middle spot, with respectful power, good camera performance, and continues with the trend or the Redmi Note series; aiming at break sale records.
The Redmi Note 7 Pro is a trial, to see if people really want a cheap brand (Redmi) to make an expensive phone, employing more expensive hardware to test the market.

And we even might see a Redmi Pro 2, or a Redmi flahship, closer to the Mi 9.
Will it beat the purpose of the Pocophone? Maybe.
But in this World, multiple brands (and identities) are what marketing managers are seeing works.

Huawei with Honor.
Oppo with Vivo, Realme, and OnePlus
Xiaomi with Redmi and Pocophone.
