Lately I have a problem with notifications on statusbar. Notifications like whatsapp etc.appear in just one line. I have to swipe down to expand it. This wasn't the case before. I'm on latest EU build. Somebody else with this issue? I'm not sure if it's a bug or settings problem.

That's how it has always been... You're looking for this, probably:
Settings -> Notifications -> Notification shade -> Expand top notification
Settings -> Notifications -> Notification shade -> Expand top notification
Already tried, not working for me. There are some more users with this problem. Head over to questions forum and you'll find my post.

So what you meant was that the notification preview is blank, not collapsed.
It's a known issue, most likely official MIUI issue, read the pinned post...

I'm not talking about what happens when you expand it. I'm talking about how it looks by default. That's why a screenshot is useful in these cases.

Well then like Igor said it is official issue for them to fix.
