Hi, to get your Mi6 out of bootloop, you will have to flash the fastboot rom with Mi Flash tool. Download and install this tool. You will find the fastboot rom here: http://en.miui.com/a-234.html (i always choose the developer rom). Note: when you flash choose "clear all" (in screen flashtool, down right side), otherwise you can lock you device again.
After flashing this rom you must flash TWRP again and after that you can install your wanted rom. Good luck.
Hope this isd helpfull for you.
Just let me know if you succeeded or have any question.

Regards, Alex

This procedure is correct.
And I have been following it for years.

But, this time I get my phone booting during many minutes.
Not bootloop. Simple trying to boot for an absurd amount of time.

So, I am not sure what is going on...

I already tried v10.2.1.0 and v10.3.1.0.
Flashed China Stable, flashed TWRP, and flashed Xiaomi.eu (with Wipe Cache, Dalvik, and Data).
It simply does not boot.

Hi, maybe the power button got stuck somehow. I had that once and found out when i opened the phone and checked the parts. Maybe you can try to get it loose (if that is the problem) with pushing many times. Or press some air in it. You can always open the phone and check that from the inside.

Hope it helps. If not let me know.

My power button is very good.

As I use the fingerprint, and have the double tap to wake, I simply rarely use it.
Thus, the power button remains very good.

I have a phobia about breaking parts in electronics, which can fail and leave your perfectly good product dead.
Buttons is one of those things.
So, I always save these components.

Fastboot works?
Did you try another TWRP?
Sometimes it helps.

Goodmorning, that's great! Another checkpoint on the list. I am happy your Mi6 is working. Have a nice day. Alex
Yes, there is always a new checkpoint every 6 months.
Xiaomi is trying really hard to keep you inside their ROM.

I understood the 15 day period, to avoid resellers flashing bad ROMs. I am in favour of this.
But, afterwards, make their users life difficult, I am not in favour of that!

But, I understand they gain money in advertising, and with other ROMs they will lose that income.
That is why I pay for my Mi Cloud. But I do not want advertising.
