Mi 10 ultra touchscreen around finger scanner degrating

Hi all.


I have had my mi 10 ultra for a couple of months now. I recently upgraded to MIUI 12 V12.1.1.0 RJJCNXM.

I started nothasing that while typing not all key strokes are picked up as good as the others. Around the fingerprints reader this is.

In the picture I added I started drawing lines from the center of the screen. All the dots are touches that were registered but not that my finger was moving away from it to create a line. All the lines you see were initiated from the start that is closest to the center and we're dragged outwords.

The area with the dots is where I'm experiencing bad imput.

Does anyone experience this also or knows what is the cause or fix?

Had the same issue when I updated. A restart of the phone fixed it.

Oh man! it really was this simple. Totaly fixed it.
Also had USB isseus, a reboot also fixed that. Strange problems.

I'm facing issues with Global ROM. Swip up in launcher is not working. I checked with few tools to verify screen they also reported error.

Finally a reboot fixed the issue but some times it again popus up.

After a day it also came back for me. Reboot did help again. Looks like a recurring thing.
