Hello,

I have a problem with my Mi 11 Ultra.
The device had the Rom 12.5.17.0 RKACNXM installed and was flashed to the official 12.5 EEA Rom. After the OTA update to 13.0.5. the device crashed and has not started since.
In the device manager, the device is recognized as "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008" after driver installation. I tried to flash the device with MiFlash 2021.2.26.0, I took the firmware "xiaomi.eu_multi_MI11Pro_MI11Ultra_V13.0.9.0.SKACNXM_v13-12-fastboot".
The flash fails with the error message "The object reference was not set to an object instance". Can you help me further?

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately I am not so familiar with the topic Xiaomi flashing, since I have not done it for quite a while. Thanks for pointing out that the .eu ROM cannot be flashed with the MiFLash tool.

The phone won't boot since the failed update. I can't boot it into EDL mode or fastboot.

What I do know that the bootloader of the phone should be unlocked.

I read the linked thread but don't know if it will help me since fastboot doesn't work on my phone.

Do you have a tip on how I can revive the phone?

Thanks for the tip with the Unbrick service. I didn't think that completely wrong. Only that USB 2.0 is necessary and I tried to flash the wrong ROM I simply did not know. Now the phone works again and has the Stable Global 12.5.8 installed and I am happy.

Exact same thing happened to my Mi 11 Venus today. Running stock global rom, but unlocked bootloader. The device downloaded the update, rebooted and then black screen ever since. I can like @Kokzreh see my device in devicemanager in windows as the same qualcomm something something device.

I've tried following this guide without success: https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads...on-edl-flash-xiaomi-authorized-account.63745/

My phone is still covered by guarantee - should I just RMA it?

Thanks.

Looks like you are in edl mode and need the services of someone with an edl account. Quicker and probably cheaper than sending away as they may say it's your own fault as you unlocked the bootloader and took the risk. I used an edl account man, £23 and 20 mins, all good. His link is on this forum if needed.
