Notification bar combining icons into (1...) (2...) etc

Hello All,

I'm trying to figure out how to stop my notification bar from combining notifications into the (1...) (2...) etc icons. I'd prefer it to just show all of the icons at once, like it used to.

If I'm not being clear, let me know and I'll try to figure out how to post a screenshot.

There is nothing you can do to change that BUT good news is that the grouped (numbered) notification is being replaced in favour of old froyo style notification bar in tomorrow's release.

That's great news! Is it usually safe to install an update the same day it is released or should I wait a few days for any kinks to get worked out?

Also, how do I find out what is "coming soon" for releases?

You should be fine to install same day. I always do I can't wait. If you get force closes on some activity (which is the worst really that can probably happen at this point in development) just flash the older one you had before. Don't forget to post your issue on this site where appropriate so it can be fixed.
