I'm clueless and I need help!
My Phone:
A Xiaomi MI 8 I've been using for years (bought new). Standard OS nothing unusual.
Prior Observations:
-had issues with some video files in the Galary app in the last few days
-had the Galary App freezing on me
What I did:
Causual Browsing of known sites.
What happend:
-Phone Crashed
-started bootlooping
-broke out of the loop a couple of times for a short period. I was able to turn the Phone off. However, it still began the bootlooping process again.
What I've tried:
Pressing power+volume up; Pressing power+volume down;
-> Showed me three options then crashed and looped again; Showed me Fastboot then crashed and looped again
What happened:
-It did the bootlooping until the battery was completely drained
-recharging it starts bootlooping again
What I want:
1. Restore the phone to it's prior state
2. Save the data on the phone
3. if those are not possible, make the phone work again even if I loose my data (which would be a sad loss for me)
If there are any tutroials I can follow or any advice you can give, it is greatly appreaciated. I am a noob and would need a tutorial to execute anything out of the ordinary.
