My girlfriend recently got a redmi 3s, same model I have, and I noticed the flashlight colour is extremely different!! Mine is warm white and her one is cold white, and mine is only 60-70% powerful as the other. Any way to change flashlight options? Thanks

yes, I keep having the same with any rom, saturation mode must be off for some strange reasons

No problems with gallery, only I cannot hide stuff in it without uploading to Miaccount which I think is stupid! For the rest, apps and configs are automatically backed up from mi account so when I log in, the phone it performs an automatic backup of all my apps, no need to set up anything...

Ehy everyone, I have a problem with my 3S (MIUI8 8.0.6 Global Stable)... I had this problem also with the previous ROMS (not with Miui7 if I remember correctly)... Basically my screen changes colour intensity automatically, it's noticeable especially on the top bar and it happens when I scroll...

Interested to see if the problem get solved! I also have a (different) problem with my screen and I join here so to keep myself updated!

Maybe there is a problem with your usb port module? I once fixed a bricked samsung s2 by replacing the usb port module on the bottom of the phone, maybe that's a similiar case? Did you try to flash the rom with MiFlash? That could maybe solve the problem!!!

I'm on 8.0.6 stable, it's better than all the Devs 6.whatever tried so far, but still not better than Miui7 7.5.9 I wonder what's so different in the two roms that makes battery and rams drop so much!

I think latest Rom where you can see UK as locale is 6.9.22 but I'm not sure...you should try or wait somebody that knows for sure... For the rom, depends what you want, in Miui7 7.5.4 users says that battery is ok, Volte option is working and is afterall a good rom. Other says 7.5.9 is better...

What do you exactly do with this method? Put CPU/GPU freq @ Max or remove them from being at max??

yes when I take pics or vids with whats app I can see that camera behaviour is different than with stock app for camera

Always charge the battery to 100% when you get a new phone, no matter what, before turning on charge the battery. Don't think that was the cause, anyway check for updates or reflash rom if the problem persist
