Hi lads, Mi5s here. I had to get back to the previous stable because for some reasons Google Maps doesn't work with 10.2.1. Other apps like Waze for example works well. But Maps is much better and very important for my job. Anyone else get trough this problem I suffered?

Except when the weekly is quite old, maybe 2 or 3 months. I tried dirty flash from 8.8.3 and everything is fine. It is because the stable even if it is based on an old weekly is newer than the weekly i had on my phone. But if weekly version you have is recent or if Android version changes yes...

I just flashed the stable on my Mi5s over the 8.8.3 developer. Only wiped cache and dalvik. so far so good. Quite happy the face unlock is back. Lovely job guys, my compliments.

There's no need to format data for updates. I do format data only when Miui version change.

I have updated with TWRP as always.

Thanks but I just did a clean flash passing from Miui 9 to Miui 10. It tooked me 2 or 3 hour to have the same settings I had. I don't want to spend all of that time once again just less than one month later.
