The phone will work normally on GSM 900/1800/1900 though without the possibility of 3G. Stating that the phone is DOA would be stretching it in my oppinion. Preordered one!

3G is not important to me but does this phone work in Norway at all? I am thinking of buying this one to my daughter and she wont be needing 3G as long as she can call and text.

I think this is a good thing, any open source will need regulations at a certain time. As Pele mentions there are loads of themes getting pushed out everyday, I think it's fair to say that not all of those bare the same quality.

Too bad you can't host the beta tests here then, would benefit us all. And it may seem that "English" in China is somewhat different then in the rest of the world, in my honest opinion they should just call it "International Mode". Then again thank god you guys are here to translate.
