Hmm I only got this android update I hasn’t fixed the WiFi problem for me. Connection still flops between too slow to use and not working at all

oh great news. did it update automatically or do you need to trigger it on the projector somehow? does casting to the projector now work?

one thing that no one's talked about much - how come we can no longer cast to the projector, even when the wifi is (briefly) working?

it's a real shame they haven't fixed this, as it's completely put me off buying any further major xiaomi products. Small stuff like mi band etc.. ok.. can live with any bugs etc... but i was going to buy, for example, their new air fryer but after this projector experience i wouldn't go anywhere...

they clearly don't care. all you can do is warn people to not buy it

i gave up and just bought a roku stick to plug into the projector. works fine, but ridiculous i had to spend more money just to make this projector work

post in the twitter thread linked a couple of posts back. at least xiaomi and xiaomi support are more likely to see it than here

stupid answers. the projector works fine for months then suddenly stops working after an update, with everything else in the environment staying exactly the same hmm.. wonder what could have happened!?

yes look at just how unstable the wifi is. in the space of 60 seconds it can swing from 150mbps to 0.6mbps
