I put back "old Chinese" recovery after flashing this week's rom with fastboot method on my Poco F2. It works like a charm.

I can comfirm this. Reboot to recovery on Poco F2 Pro now works normally.

This is on my wife's Joyeuse. Everything works ok.

I just done this on my wife's Joyeuse. Everything works as it should. Just follow the instructions from first post. It's the classic for first install of recovery. Important is to format data with "yes" and to reboot back to recovery, not to system. Thank you very much.

Come on, man.. Almost everyone of us is satisfied with this version. You really should look into your update procedure. Everything is written here or over at the Xda forum.

I have the same lag on Max 3. It started with this version.

Why? I flashed the rom on Max 3 with OrangeFox recovery and all went well. Is there something wrong with this recovery? Thanks for your work and have a nice weekend.

Go and look at the Xda site. https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-8-pro There are a few so-so working recoverys. I would like to test them, but it is my wife's phone. So, no go for me.. Releasing of this rom by EU team is great thing by itself. You know, it's a MediaTek after all.
