HyperOS is already available for the 11 ultra (in stable page, not beta). And you don't need to format, MIUI 14-beta > HyperOS 1.0-stable is an upgrade. Format is only needed for downgrades. I did the update on Mi11 and it worked fine :)

For system updates? Long-press on the Updater app, then "App info" > "Notifications" > "New version available" and turn it off. That should do it.

Unless there is an update to the global modem, you don't need to flash it every week, just edit the update script and comment out the two lines with modem and modemfirmware. That's what I do (although I haven't flashed this week's rom because of the camera issues).

Yes, I've seen that. That's why I suggested making it the other way around, make global modem the default and those who imported from China can flash the CN modem separately. That would make it less confusing for new users who most likely will buy the global version.
