Congratulations! You know I've been thinking about doing the same and even though it adds some more onto the cost of the device to have them unlock the bootloader before shipping I would have been fine paying that. The problem is that I just can't bring myself to support Xiaomi and their bs...

Yeah I'm definitely troubled. I was going to purchase a Chinese version of Xiaomi 14 Pro to use this year since they decided not to release it globally but the greedy Xiaomi rule change to not allow bootloader unlock totally put me off. I know why they're doing it since the flagship devices...

I don't have this issue with telegram. Make sure it's not going to sleep or something.

Does anyone know if there is a list for MediaTek devices supported by Xiaomi EU? There's a good deal going right now on the 13T Pro and I was wondering if there's a ROM build for it? I looked at the patron account but there's no list.

I'd like to know this too about Xiaomi Key. Still debating ordering the K70 Pro, want to be sure I can unlock it first before I order.

Return the phone to the place of purchase. It's clearly a faulty unit, I've not seen anyone else report this before.

Yeah I think it's better to wait until the end of the month and when the holidays end we will have some resolution. I'm very close to purchasing the K70 Pro from China but not sure if I want to wait. Although it will take a while for it to be delivered to me so I might do it anyways and then...
