Honestly if you're happy with how you got everything set up right now I would just leave it. As far as I know you'd have to do a full format when flashing if coming from any other ROM. That is ALWAYS the rule. Even Mi Mover doesn't work yet, so copying your previous configuration is going to...

Do not worry too much about this, I got same error once while trying to update. Second time I ran the script everything flashed fine! Seems its just Fastboot things.

It states that because its possible, but you NEED to have a working TWRP recovery already flashed for your specific device.
