Is it safe to install it without twrp, using mirecovery? I've succesfully installed 6.4.21 this way. I don't know why but im getting signature verification failed while trying install twrp with updater app, strange...

Its probably not ROM issue. Had same problem. Cleaning headphone socket from dust helped in my case.

Long story short, root access is required to install CWM and then to flash rom? I'm currently running MIUI 6 (66.66.77.00 LHMCNCF) on Redmi Note 2 from oppomart. It does have an updater app. It's TD Version but in fact it does support FDD LTE bands 1/3/7. Thanks.
