    Which ROM after September 22?

MIUI.EU does not update ROMS for phones whose support by Xiaomi has ended. If Xiaomi no longer updates the software for a model then there are no updates to the MIUI.EU ROM either. All custom MIUI Custom ROMs are just modded versions of the official Chinese ROM release so you won't be able to...

MIUI 14.0.8.0 STABLE released for Mi 11 venus

You should ignore the errors at the very end of the string when updating the ROM and look at the top of the screen where TWRP says whether the flash was successful or not.

MIUI 14.0.8.0 STABLE released for Mi 11 venus

I installed the new ROM using the TWRP recovery from the last stable build. It installed fine. Unless something has changed Xiaomi.EU installs TWRP inside the update package so you shouldn't need to manually flash TWRP unless you're updating from a fast boot ROM.

MIUI 13 MIUI 13 STABLE RELEASE

You can ignore any step in instructions that tell you to install TWRP. You just need to boot into TWRP (bootloader boot TWRP.img or TWRP.exe--whatever the file extension is). That will open TWRP on your phone which you use to flash the ROM zip. If you follow the instructions step by step (but...

MIUI 13 MIUI 13 STABLE RELEASE

Normally but if you have a MI 11 nearly all of them are the Chinese hardware version with the bootloader unlocked and the Global ROM installed. If you try to update the official Global ROM the Chinese MI 11 is really prone to bricking. Most people think it's a hard brick because you can't flash...

MIUI 13 MIUI 13 STABLE RELEASE

With the Chinese recovery the top option is to reboot your phone so all you need to do to get out of that is hit the power button for enter. There might be another menu with two options but you just hit power again and your phone will reboot. If you were going to install the official ROM the...

MIUI 13 MIUI 13 STABLE RELEASE

That version of TWRP worked for me but the tutorial on how to install TWRP should be ignored. It was designed to install TWRP before there was a working version of TWRP on Android 12. All people need to do is boot into TWRP (bootloader boot TWRP.img) and install the recovery ROM zip. For the MI...

MIUI 13 MIUI 13 STABLE RELEASE

That worked. Thank you. I haven't run MIUI EU in a couple of years. The next time there is an update can MIUI EU be updated via OTA or will it need to be updated with fastboot again?

MIUI 13 MIUI 13 STABLE RELEASE

I'm already running 13.08.0. Are you saying to reflash 13.0.8.0 fastboot ROM and then go straight to the steps for installing the 13.0.9.0 recovery ROM?

MIUI 13 MIUI 13 STABLE RELEASE

After my latest failed attempt my phone seems to think that I tried to update via OTA and wants me to hit the update button to complete the process--which obviously isn't going to work since the stock recovery is still installed on my phone. I don't think I've ever had so much trouble...

MIUI 13 MIUI 13 STABLE RELEASE

I haven't been successful so far. I was also trying to find someone who successfully upgraded on the MI 11 to find out exactly how they did it.

MIUI 13 MIUI 13 STABLE RELEASE

This is the first stable recovery ROM for the MI 11. The previous build was a fastboot ROM. I need to install the recovery ROM version using TWRP for the first time and so far I haven't been successful. I also haven't found a message from anyone else who has been successful with the MI 11...

MIUI 13 MIUI 13 STABLE RELEASE

Not that I have been successful so far but you aren't clicking a fastboot.exe or a twrp.exe installation file. You need to put your TWRP image into the folder where your fastboot files are, open a command prompt window in that folder and then type in the command: fastboot boot twrp.img That...

MIUI 13 MIUI 13 STABLE RELEASE

OK. Removing my PIN did allow me to see the ROM zip on my phone but when I try to install the ROM I'm getting error messages for failing to mount system root, system .ext, and product so I guess that's some progress.

MIUI 13 MIUI 13 STABLE RELEASE

Maybe using minimal ADB and fastboot is causing problems and I need to go back to the full platform tools but I have already tried both with no success so far. I even tried XiaoMIToolv2 out of desperation which automates the installation process for MIUI EU and that's failing during the TWRP...
