MI8 dipper Android auto doesn't work anymore, it temporarly loads but then blackscreens and disconnects and reboots the phone automatically or i have to reboot it manually

SOLVED! I changed USB port (i was using one on the front of the PC case, i switched to one in the back, the ones directly on the motherboard) and it flashed the new recovery no problem and with the new twrp flashed i could access it and update regularly. Thanks everyone for your help!

yes.... my previous comment meant i entered fastboot via adb and then i input the flash command, but it didn't do anything

yes, this is what i did: adb reboot fastboot (and it reboots it no problem) then fastboot flash recovery "name" (and nothing happens) also, one thing i forgot to add when i input the adb devices command the first time, it gave me the accept prompt on the phone but if i input it a second time...

I'm using the developer version but it doesn't get updated anymore so i want to upgrade to the 8 do i lose all my data in doing so or i can safely flash the new one and it updates itself like a normal update? i don't want to reset my phone if possible thanks

i'm having the exact same problem on my MI3 i already tried wiping cache and wiping the phone and install the update from zero, but it didnt help i use spotify and soundcloud (youtube doesn't crash tho)
