Yes you can make a copy of the boot.img via TWRP which is stored on the device, you can then select this from Apatch. That is what I did, didn't need to connect to PC. This tutorial worked too for Revolut on an old Xiaomi device of mine thanks

I think the 13 series is going to miss some of the AI stuff. Considering the phones from the 13 series are only one and a bit years old, and were an expensive buy, especially the 13 Ultra, it's a bit of a joke. I'd be interested to know what the hardware limitation that Xiaomi claims is the reason.

Updated Ishtar on my 13 Ultra Global via USB/Fastboot; it worked fine from the word go, with no crashes, etc., as I had on last week's build, which was resolved with the ADB commands easily enough. Thanks devs.

What do you use for backup? I lost the icon arrangement last update, and would like to avoid it again.

I managed to close the app errors and get onto the settings to enable USB debugging, then ran the command and all working ok now.

I updated Ishtar on the global version of the 13 Ultra via fastboot - lots of apps crashing, basically all of them, as the home screen never loaded properly, just the loading sign. Fixed with the ADB command, and it now works fine. I've done all Hyper OS updates so far and have not had any...

Do you think Google is doing this in an automated way, or is there a Jobsworth dev who is manually watching and patching each time? It might be worth not fixing them for a few weeks until the dev in charge of that is off with depression or removed from their post due to SIMPing over a 3/10 at...

It looks like Google are playing whack a mole with the fixes for safety net. I've not used xiaomi roms for that long, has that happened before? Don't bother fixing it for a few weeks/months until the heat dies down?

Isn't wiping Dalvik not recommended as it leads to a slower OS until the next ROM update?

I've just updated the Xiaomi 13 Ultra Global Version with Hyper OS. Fastboot method, running nicely. :emoji_thumbsup:

Best option is to buy a watch with Google Wallet and NFC on it IMO. I'd never go back to stock ROM even if Gpay never works on Xiaomi EU ROMs again. They worked flawlessly for me since I started using them.
