    5X Zoom Focus Problem

    it's not a bug, it's a feature. if the focal distances don't match up it'll automatically switch to the 1X cam. third party camera apps don't suffer this problem. just be aware of the lighting conditions and you can manage if using the stock cam.

    so i replaced the ultrawide camera on my phone and it turns out that even after I replace it, it still doesn't manually focus. I'm wondering if it's a software issue that can be fixed... and if so, how do I fix it?

    disable HW overlays. it's a temporary fix but it does work.

    I love it. only thing I hate is that the pro camera mode contains no rear display mode but I love that (w/ root) I can change the settings of the noise reduction and sharpness on the camera just like the rooted S8+.

    Samsung the S20 was a disappointment compared to the S8+ that I had.

    fix for black screen issues (hw overlay)

    make sure "Disable HW overlays" is enabled. really fixed Instagram and the issues I was having. especially with Android 12 beta.
