Nope! Android Auto is totaly buggy on the Mi phones (and yes, it's the phones fault and not the car). Got also the Mi 11 and AA is kinda unusable. Several times it's said here in the forums, that installing the custom EU-rom will fix this, but this simply does not happen ...

First of all i'll just answer my questions, so far the things i experienced and read after unlocking and flashing the xiaomi.eu-rom: #1 already clear #2 it's not an update. even it's a "bigger" version, it has to be a clean install and will remove all data #3 every update must be installed...

I've finally done it ... After waiting half a lifetime to be able to unlock the bootloader and struggling around unlocking the device afterwards (cause after a flash it seems to be automaticly locked by XIaomi and when you try to unlock it through your Mi ID you seems to always get into trouble)...

So far i've found out myself: #1 you need to unlock the bootloader even to install the stable Android 12 ROM. And it usually takes about a week, before xiaomi will "free" your device, after you apply for unlocking. Today i have to wait 110 hours :rolleyes: The rest is still a mystery ...
