No, I am running 4.6.20 and making phone calls with MI3W is still embarrassing. I have to regularly switch between speaker phone and phone in order to make people hear my voice clearly!

It is the most annoying bug ever! The solution I used sofar is switching the phone to speaker and then back to BT. After the switch sound quality is perfect. However, after some minutes, (mostly >5 or 10) the problem reoccurs. Again switching back and forth between speaker phone and BT resolves...

Started after update 4.5.30. People start to complain that they cannot understand anymore what I am saying. The words are being chopped. This happend already with earlier releases of MIUI, but occured mainly while talking with bluetooth. This is not just a bug, this phone (mi3w) cannot be used...

Today I tried to make 2 phone calls using my plantronics bluetooth in combination with MI3W and ROM 4.5.16. No issues! No noisy metalic/trash sound problems occured, only a drop of connection at answering a call (this happens with native android too, so I am used to it). Have no clue yet on how...

It has been my biggest disappointment for the MIUI MI3. If I had known I would never have bought the phone. I do have the same issues. Using a plantronics bluetooth headset and a panasonic DNX7230 car unit. Aksed my provider for a dual sim and now I am using another phone to make the bluetooth...

Updated 4.5.9 to 4.5.16 on my MI3W. Using CWM failed! Using the update from the phone works, but then my recovery img was reverted back to stock recovery. After updating the recovery img back to CWM, boot fails. Tried everything, but bottomline, CWM does not work anymore with 4.5.16. Anyone...

Too bad... Making calls with a bluetooth headset (or carkit) with MIUI 4.6.9 and my MI3W starts of with good audio quality, but after some time (30 seconds, 5 minutes, ..) people start to complain that my voice quality has become very poor (similar to the other complaints in this thread)...

Hmmm, my MI3 W is now running the MIUI 4.5.9 and it looks like the sound quality of the bluetooth headset is now OK!

Great news indeed. Curious to know if bluetooth headset behaviour is getting better now in MI3. As soon as ROM is available for download I will test it!

Well, that is what I did yesterday and then it started to work. Only issue left is voice distortion from my bluetooth headset.

There are youtube instructions on how to install google framework on MI3. However, if you have latest ROM from xiaomi, google play will not run after installation. In order to get it running, install ROM miuiandroid_multi_cancro_4.4.27_jb-4.3.zip from this site, google is automatically added.

Hi same issue here, using plantronics. Switched to use mi3 yesterday and everyone is complaining on my mechanical and strange voice sound. headset works fine with other android phones.
