I'm seriously considering buying the Mi watch from AliExpress...But having reservations as it's the Chinese ROM (and from what i gather there is no Global ROM) Is there a community set up on here? (i can't seem to find one?) are there any other users that have meddled with it? I would of assumed...

Ah i get you now, i've just tried to access my calendar from sleep but it asks me to use my fingerprint first in order to unlock. It's good for questions, but that's about it.

Not sure as i had the global ROM pre installed...Which is a first for me as i usually get the Chinese renditions and go through all the rigmarole that entails. To be honest i haven't even checked up on the differences, as i've just nipped over here from the official MIUI forums to check this out.

You could try launching the google app and open settings>ok google detection, then toggle from any screen. and turn on the always listening mode from the google app...hope this helps. P.s i've just tried it on my note 9 pro and it works fine in MIUI 12. See.

You say stock ROM? which one are you using? P.s i haven't flashed a ROM in yonks, but i seem to remember it getting updated (and i've never had problems with banking apps) In all fairness, it's best to ask someone who knows about the new ROMS out there... ;)
