this thread has been silent for a while, but i need to ask something about downgrading from miui 8 to miui 7, i'm using twrp 3.0.2.3. i've had red before that we are not allowed to wipe system partition for the sake of our sanity :P, does downgrading to miui 7 require to wipe the system...

yes, me too.. when i long pressed the home button, the screen flashed a bit, and freeze, until i pressed the back button. Sent from my MI 5 using Tapatalk

i have succeeded change the twrp language to english, but i'm unable to open my internal storage via twrp. anyone experience the same problem as mine? did i flash the wrong twrp? my device is Mi5 unlocked running miui 8

Hi, i just bought my mi5. And now i want to flash twrp to the mi5, but the one i download from page 1, is using Chinese language with it, does anyone has the link of the english version for the latest twrp please?

Thank you for your solution, but i already did some searching on google and got a conclusion that the problem was my Wifi driver (link: http://en.miui.com/thread-274488-1-1.html) , so i tried to re-wipe and did the clean flash, and apparently it solved my problem. (*sorry for my bad english)

i have used miui 8 stable version since yesterday, but now after change a theme, my wifi suddenly stops working until now, and when i checked at the advance settings, my MAC address were also gone, it state as 'Unknown'. Does anyone have this bug too? I am using Mi4S
