Ahh that will be it, kinda confusing, sorry for the obvious questions :)

I'm trying to downgrade on my Note 9S EU from A11 (multi_HMNote9Pro_HMNote9S_V12.0.1.0.RJWMIXM_v12-11) to A10 (multi_HMNote9Pro_HMNote9S_V12.0.6.0.QJWMIXM_v12-10) however even after wiping data and my caches several times and flashing the rom I'm stuck in a bootloop, am I doing something wrong?

If I downgrade can I make a backup of my data in TWRP before and just restore it after wiping and flashing the downgraded version with no problems? Will it restore all my settings, apps, homescreens etc?

Ahh that also explains why I didn't get any OTA update cause it would be a downgrade of my Android version. I'm gonna stick with it now that it seems like miui 12.5 is gonna roll out to the 9s within the next few weeks or months. Thank you!

Huh that's gonna be it! Very odd that a later version is still A10 while the one I'm on is 11? That being said I'm not a fan at all of this version or A11 but I don't want to wipe my system just to downgrade. Thanks though!

Can anyone tell me why the doesn't work on my Redmi Note 9S while the works perfectly fine? The 12.0.6 also isn't available through the OTA update, am I missing something obvious here?

Hello, quick question: running 12.0.1 on my Note 9S and I see there's 12.0.6 available on androidfilehost but I don't get that update over OTA can I still safely update manually?

Performance has definitely been better since I flashed the rom but ever since the Android 11 update it's gone back just like battery life :(

I mean it's probably still better than the bloated stock rom for sure, you also get features like the wallpaper carousel etc. Never had issue with RAM management but I have the 6 gig version of the Note 9S. I can do calls just fine yeah not a problem for me!

Yep, since the Android 11 update my phone drains 5% or more over night even with all connectivity off. Battery life in general is much worse on 11

Hold off on it. Since the upgrade to 11 my battery life has shortened significantly and one of the most stupid features in 11 is scoped storage which makes using any third party gallery app or file browser a chore to use since every single action has to be confirmed

The google Photos issue is actually part of Android 11 it's called scoped storage and it's absolutely terrible as you've already noticed it breaks basically every third party gallery app and most file managers. If you google android 11 scoped storage photos you'll find a lot about this. I hope...

Hi there, sorry if this has already been posted but is anyone else also experiencing much more battery drain on Android 11 than back with 10? And if so is this something that can be improved down the line or is it just part of Android 11? Running a Note 9S
