Maybe somebody could put a clear note in the OP regarding this...? It seems too many people try flashing mods and extras to MIUI before giving a new install time to do it's first boot and finish setting itself up first. Pretty sure a clear note above the GApps download links would save many...

The M2 is a dual-boot setup, so without knowing which system you're trying to install this to, nobody can really help too much... Although, perhaps you might find a solution over here [link]? :)

I've also got an Arc S, running MIUI 3.1.11 with Eryen's stock kernel, and popup messages work perfectly for me (I'm not sure what the kernel would have to do with WhatsApp or it's features, thread link is in my sig if you want to try it though). Have you tried a wipe and re-flash yet?

In that case, the only other thing I can think to try is a full wipe and re-flash. I don't have a Galaxy S III, but I didn't have any of those issues with 3.1.11 on my Arc S.

Hey fusionjack, thanks for getting the 3.1.11 control panel up so quickly, I was half expecting to have to wait a week for it.. :) Downloading it now. I noticed in the changelog the section for the "4/5-Way Reboot" is crossed out with a note saying "Now it is integrated on miuiandroid ROMs"...

Not sure about the home button issue, but for the lockscreen, have you tried re-applying whatever lockscreen theme you use? Even if it's the default one. My calculator is also the same as it was previously (not like the screenshots in post #2 of the changelog), but I prefer this calculator...

After a bit more digging now, looks like the Gmail app may not be included in the Gapps zip after all.. My mistake, I honestly thought it was. :)

Just did a flawless update from 2.12.29 to 3.1.11, everything is working just as it was before... :) Including the fact that I don't have the Gmail app. :/ I've got Talk though (which annoys me, I'm about to remove it with Titanium Backup, as I do after every ROM I flash), but I'm not sure if...

I tried it last week, but after an hour and a half of downloading (only have a 1mbps ADSL line at home) I found it didn't like my Arc S very much... So I had to request a refund. It looks pretty epic though. :)

Just wanted to say thanks for the Control Panel Suite for 2.12.29 on the Arc S (LT18i), I just wish they'd download faster... I feel like I'm watching paint dry on a new sports car, I want to drive it... Now. :p Lol.
