Same problem with My MI8. The uplaoding of pictures is very slow (1 Kb/s) and not work in wifi This problem was appear before insttation of 8.8.23. I think is a problem of acces at the xiaomi servers in China.

Update from 8.8.16 to 8.8.23 is great on my Mi 8, good job:emoji_thumbsup:

I have same problem with my mi MI8, mi cloud image gallery does not synch in wifi or in data network. No problem of battery drain Bluetooth work but i have re-associated my phone with my car, my device name is an hex address.

I just installed a 8.8.16 on my Mi8. no problem. GPS work (afert on / off airplane mode) root with magisk is ok

yes i have magisk 16.7 on my mi8

I have jumped to MI8_8.7.12 at this version with MI8 ... all is ok. Manual download and MAGISK 16.7 installed in recovery at same time of the rom.

I use magisk v16.6, and root work perfectly

IN TWRP: MENU INSTALL, 1- select rom_MI.zip 2- Bouton add more zip 3- Select MAgisk.zip and swipe to flash (the picture bellow is approximative)
