I'd rather not wipe, as it's a pain to set everything up again. I've tried the solutions too, and they only offer a temporary fix!

Same happening to me too. Need a fix asap. As I refuse to use Google photos for personal reasons.

Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to fix it. My gallery still crashes. I can't view any photos. I kinda need to view my photos often, it's rather frustrating. Not sure how this can be called stable with this huge issue glaring in our faces.

I believe SetEdit allowed you to change the refresh rates, but it no longer works on hyperOS. I wonder if we'll see an alternative or an update?

What refresh rates are available on the Xiaomi 13? I see it drop to 30hz on the AOD, and 120hz on the lock screen, and 60hz on some apps. But I'm wondering if it can do 90hz?

How often will I have to do this? And will this remove any photos that I currently have?

Figured it out, it's because the default refreshrate is 120hz and is used in every app at 120hz. Either manually toggling every app to use 60hz while the rest of the phone uses 120hz or manually set the whole screen to 60hz. I chose to manually toggle each individual app to 60hz after testing...
