New Gallery app randomly close or crash when zooming in or browsing photos

Gallery app is pretty much broken, and that's been a thing since the very first weekly update. I'm on latest Xiaomi eu hyperos, tried all fixes from the header post and it does not work.
Gallery randomly crashes or closes when browsing photos or zoom in, just few seconds after, making it not possible to use the default gallery app and switch to Google photos.

Xiaomi 13 Ultra. The fix from the header post (the adb commands) work but after phone restart it starts crashing again and need to repeat these commands again.

Google Fotos seems to be the current solution
Google One has 2TB free 6 months trial for Xiaomi users

When is the gallery issue getting fixed?
I did the fixes from the 2nd post multiple times (bat file and adb commands) but none of these work.
It temporarily solves the issue but it keeps coming back.
I had all usb debugging variants in developer options on (both, usb debugging and usb debugging security settings)

Same happening to me too. Need a fix asap. As I refuse to use Google photos for personal reasons.

The only option is to install the same gallery on top of the system (as an update), the apk can be obtained on the Internet

I tried for couples of times to isolate Gallery crashing moment from logs, but I didn't succeeded.
I have Xiaomi 13 (fuxi) with xiaomi.eu: OS1.0.6.0.UMCCNXM
