Just so you can understand : - the devs may not have your device - the devs may not have a second device with hyperos global to spend dozens of hours to compare battery life with different use cases - the devs may not be able to replicate your issue - the issue may be inherent to the china ROM...

Users of the Global device and the Xiaomi.eu ROM (China based) have the same issue. It seems to be an incompatibility of modem / drivers files with a different version of the hardware. I believe the easiest and best solution would be to use the Xiaomi.eu ROM...
