Thank you for your answer. In the meantime, I unlocked the bootloader and tried it for myself. Unfortunately I happened in the Google test week on the hardware check for SafetyNet. So, as soon as the ROM is installed, no certification, no GPay, no nothing. In the blink of an eye I went back to...
Try to clear the Play Store data. However, we don't know how long it will last. If Google wants to relock everything.

Google has yet to define the thing. Now all the devices are back certified. But we don't know how long it will be.

Did GPay already have the cards added or did you add them from scratch? However happy for you and all those who freely decide to try this solution.

Xposed drain much battery and it is no really effective. In fact SafetyNet in third-party checking apps is no reliable. I tried Xposed solution, cts is OK, but not working GPay and no cts dependent apps.
No root or root is the same. Unlocked bootloader is problem. So if you don't use Magisk or other root solutions, anyway you can't use all features of Google Play Services (GPay and other SafetyNet dependent apps).
It exists on all ROMs on all phones with unlocked bootloader. No Google Pay and all other apps those want verified cts.

In order not to miss anything, an excellent stock rom and blocked bootloader. I use the latest update, the MIUI 11.0.8 EEA, on Mi 9. Everything works very well and even better.

If you already had added cards is OK for one day, minute, week...boh?!
You will tell me when it doesn't work.

And in two days someone will wake up and say that CTS fails and cannot be resolved by publishing some other useless article. Check management is now tied to the SoC and it would take a hardware trick to cheat. So there is no way to fix it with updates.

Yesterday I put on this forum the link of the Twitter declarations of John Wu, pseudonym of the developer and creator of Magisk. John knows Android by heart. The XDA news is a summary of what John said on Twitter yesterday. I had already published the very official source.

Applies to any ROM and unlocked bootloader. You can continue to make any mod, but you will have to give up the apps and services that require a certified device. The game isn't worth it for me.
