For me with the last stable, from 23h30 to 06h, it took 2-3 percent on the battery, with wifi on...i think it is fine, better then the old one, before it was 5-6 percent !!

You better stay with the 12.0.4 stable for the moment, the latest stable is a little buggy as i could read in a few post before....
