Ya! The auto brightness has been the major issue in recent beta for so many versions. I hope that the upcoming 7.6.9 can fix it once and for all. It has been dragging for too long. Of cause, this is Xiaomi's fault and it has got nothing to do with eu rom. Thanks. < Mi Max 2 >

Go head to update to eu 8.5.12. No worries. It is good. Global rom, I tried too. It is not going to beat this eu rom 8.5.12 for sure. Trust me again.

8.5.12.0 has significant improvement over 8.5.10.0 for sure. You know that. I have tried 8.5.10.0 as the very first rom and trust me. 8.5.12.0 is even better. :)

Anyway, I couldn't wait for the chance log. I have flashed to eu rom 8.5.12.0. :) As usual, somehow the China based rom cooked by Xiaomi eu is always better than official Global rom in terms of speed and smoothness! :) It has Game Boost fucntion and extra stock tones in which they are not...

Not at the moment due to the screwed auto brightness. It is very irritating to me. I can't afford that. Else, the beta, which is a MIUI 8.6 is quite a level up over MUIU 8.5 in term of speed and smoothness. I'm using the official global 8.5.4.0 for the time being.

Beta rom 7.6.22 is so so much speedier and smoother the Stable. The only major bug on current batch of Beta rom is that the Auto brightness does not work too well! It may not be a big concern for many but it is a big concern to me as I move around indoor and outdoor in my daily work!

Don't mention it. After flashing to Global rom and if you encountered any funny issue or problem. You can do a factory reset to fix them. I couldn't turn off my 2nd sim card after flashing. So, I did a factory reset to fix it. So far, it has been stable and good.

I have flashed to it and I have decided sticking to global 8.5.4.0. To my surprise. Its speed and smoothness is better than China 8.5.10 for sure amid missing few extra tones as well as few common bugs found as in eu rom 8.5.10 package and China stable rom 8.5.1.0.0. :) In my personal opinion...
