Nope! Not on Android 7 based MIUI 8.5 on Mi Max 2 yet!

There is on Mi Max running Android 6 based MIUI 8.2.

This is not stock rom. Xiaomi.eu is a customized ROM based on Miui China, in Multi Lingual, and with google integration.

thanks for yr reply. mine had unlock the bootloader officially and flash the recovery according to the method mentioned. But after pressing vol + and power button, i still entered the stock recovery. What i have missed?

Could you show me those commands you have used to flash the twrp.img ?

1. download minimal_adb_fastboot and install
2. download twrp for mi max 2, then copy to adb install directory
3. boot phone into fastboot, volume down and power button
4. connect phone to pc
5. run adb, fastboot devices (to check if your phone is recognized)
6. fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
7. fastboot boot twrp.img (this will automatically boot into twrp recovery)

to boot into recovery...
1. turn off the phone
2. press "volume up" and "power button" at the same time
3. when the mi logo shows, release the "power button" while still pressing the "volume up" button

HI Mi Max 2 Users,

I'd like to share my theme...
1. 5x6 homescreen grid

needs root and root explorer
1. No search bar on notification
2. 5x3 layout for notification toggle

to install...
1. rename file to mimax2.zip or to preferred name with .zip extension
2. extract file to desired location, there should be 2 files,
a. MiMax2.mtz
b. com.android.systemui
3. copy com.android.systemui to /system/media/theme/default/
4. set permission to rw- r-- r--
5. run miui theme app
6. import MiMax2.mtz, then apply, you can change wallpaper to desired one
7. enjoy

I'm back to eu rom 8.5.1.0.0 coz the Auto Brightness screwed up big time in 7.6.8!

Battery looks nice! Mi Max 2 avarge usage of phone can hold 2-3 days without recharge battery?

yup. I also encountered lot's of bugs on 7.6.8. buttons lights, search, homescreen reloading, and others

If you like big screen phone and you have no problem carry it around in your pants pocket (You need a deep pants pocket). This is the phone to get.

Hardware and software wise, it is as beautiful and as good as you would expect from MIUI and Xiaomi as a whole.

The China rom 8.5.11.0 has been pushed to random Mi Max 2 users!

Hope that Xiaomi.eu can pick it up and cook it!
