OTA updates (the one you get through settings) aren't always available right away. The alternative is to download it from the rom thread, rename it to update.zip, place it on your internal sdcard, reboot to recovery (press volume up and power, once you see the boot logo release the power button...

Happy to say the 4.8.15 update fixes the autorun apps crashing in the settings for the mipad. Adding an app to the auto run allowed list fixes the widget for that app!

Awesome! Just updated and noticed the 3dot menu is indeed working but also autorun apps in the settings menu now works for the MiPad! (And adding apps to the auto run allowed list fixes the widgets issue as well)

As I said in my first post, the apps have to be installed as system apps for the widgets to actually work. You can do this with either titanium backup or rom toolbox. This actually copies the apps to the /system/apps directory, the downside is that the /system folder only has 620mb of space so...

The instructions to map the buttons back are mentioned earlier in this thread... So that shouldn't be an issue. Then again, I somehow miss the 'long press home to show recent apps' function and I can only select 'Close Current App' in the buttons section of the settings?

Long pressing the home button also shows the recent apps... Perhaps that helps?
